Pam Clark

Pam joined the EOR Team at FIRST in July 2020. Pam was trained as an EOR through FIRST with the original paper materials. Now, FIRST has created an online training platform! Pam has self-directed her son’s services as the Employer of Record since 2016. As the Director of Employer of Record (EOR) Training and Support, Pam helps individuals and their families who choose to self-direct their NC Innovations waiver services. She does this through training, education, and advocacy.

Pam and her family live in Weaverville, NC. At three years old, her son experienced an acquired brain injury due to viral encephalitis. As a result, he was diagnosed with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and other health impairments. As a special needs mother, Pam has gained much experience and quickly learned advocacy matters. Her mission is to help other individuals and families navigate the services that are available to them. She holds an Associates Degree in Human Services. Pam is currently working toward a Bachelors degree in Human Services.
