Sammi Conner

Sammi Conner earned her Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to returning to school for her Master’s degree she worked in early intervention and intensive in home counseling with children and teens. She completed her internship at FIRSTwnc and is excited to be joining the clinical team to provide counseling services to children, teens and adults! In addition to her clinical work, Sammi is the Peer to Peer lead for FIRSTwnc’s peer mentor program. Through our education and internship programs, we aim to connect adults with I/DD with peer mentors to build connections through shared lived experiences.

When she’s not in the office, Sammi is either on a hike with her family or searching for Asheville’s best cup of coffee.
