Mya Van Buskirk

Mya became a Community Navigator in 2024 and brings firsthand experience to her role through her personal and professional journey. She lives in Fletcher, North Carolina with her family and has served as an Employer of Record (EOR) for her son since November 2020.

As a parent of a child with Angelman Syndrome, Mya is passionate about self-direction and supporting families as they navigate services and supports. Her lived experience allows her to connect with families in a meaningful and practical way.

Outside of work, Mya enjoys reading, spending time with her family, working on home renovation projects with her husband, and helping run their small business.
