Following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, Hanna Kutteh, Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) felt called to write After the Wind Came as both a personal act of healing and a gift to her community. Just as she often creates social stories for her clients at FIRSTwnc, this book was born from her desire to transform grief into connection and hope. She deeply loves her home in Asheville and feels grateful to be part of such a resilient, creative, and compassionate community.
The book comes with activities for children and adults to help overcome the grief of loss from natural disasters.
