Eduardo provides mental health counseling at FIRSTwnc. Eduardo joins FIRSTwnc as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, with a Master’s degree from Western Carolina University. Eduardo works with a diverse group of clients to provide support and resources best suited for their needs. Using a wide range of evidence-based practices, such as Child Centered Play Therapy and Theraplay-based techniques, Eduardo strives to empower and support clients. Eduardo utilizes a person-centered and strengths based approach, working collaboratively with clients to pull from a client’s own experience and help build up skills, with the goal to help clients reach their goals and full potential.

Outside of work, Eduardo enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Eduardo enjoys cooking, swimming, taking hikes, and enjoying the mountain scenery.
