Lynn Maranville Martin, QDDP, QMHP

Community Navigator

In late 1999, Lynn found herself on a mission to learn as much as she could to help her son who had recently been diagnosed with developmental disabilities. She attended a conference where she met the director of the Exceptional Children’s Assistance Center (ECAC) who helped her tremendously. It was during this conference that Lynn discovered that she had a real passion to not only help her son, but to also help others on their journey.

In early 2000, she was hired as a Project Coordinator with ECAC, and soon she became a parent educator and worked for 8 ½ years with this organization. After returning to college and earning a degree in Human Services with a minor in Management, Lynn decided to begin working in the direct service arena and took a job with Easter Seals UCP as a qualified professional. Only 1 ½ years later in 2010, she founded Inspiration for Aspirations, LLC. (IFA) and served individuals and their families with a variety of supports and services for 7 ½ years. In September 2017, IFA merged with A Small Miracle (ASM). Lynn desiring to get back to what she loves, advocacy and fostering community supports and programs. She moved out of the management role and worked on the advocacy team at ASM for 2-years. Lynn has over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health issues. She has and currently sits on many local and state committees, in an effort to better the lives of special populations and is an Elder with her church. When the opportunity presented itself to back to her roots of working for parent center, she accepted a position with FIRST where she will provide education, support and advocacy in the role of Community Navigator.

Lynn has been married to her husband Glenn for 32 years, and is the proud mother of Adam Daniel who recently married Sierra, and Logan Noah who has an IDD and is currently working to establish a successful micro-enterprise. When not working Lynn enjoys mediation at any beach, reading a good book, and most importantly, spending time with her family and husband.
