Anna earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies with concentrations in Conservation Biology and Sustainable Agriculture from Warren Wilson College in 2010. After graduating, Anna managed her family’s flower farm in Bloomington, Indiana and ran her own pie and pastry business. In 2017 she moved back to the Asheville area where she has worked as a baker, bartender and event coordinator as well as running her own landscaping business and nanny-share childcare service. She has worn many professional hats over the years but above all, she loves working with and taking care of people.
As Office Manager, Anna seeks to create a warm, welcoming and safe space for the FIRSTwnc family to grow and thrive. She believes all individuals should have the resources, access and right to pursue a meaningful and joyful life. She is incredibly grateful and proud to be a part of this organization and this community.
In her spare time, Anna can be found working in her garden, making pottery, fly fishing, reading and sitting by the fireplace listening to old country records with her Chocolate Labrador named Loretta and her tomcat named Hank.
